{image courtesy of Flickr User: PrairiePeasant}This morning I hopped on to a little propellor plane, and took a trip home to Scotland to see my family.
Cue: walks in the countryside with my mother; yummy food; good conversation with my dad over wine; steaming hot baths (my little flat only has a shower...); and spending time with my nieces and nephews.
The weather is glorious (strangely so for Scotland) so I'm definitely going to be making the most of it.
I've left the boyfriend behind - alas he has to work and parrot sit (we have a pet parrot - more will definitely follow about her later!). I miss him (and the parrot) lots, but I'm sure a little time apart is healthy?
