The Internet...

...can be really lovely sometimes.

My Parents Were Awesome is full of photos that readers have submitted, showing their parents when they were younger, looking cooler than cool:

Definitely one of the sweetest things on the internet.

I always forget that way before my parents started a family, my mum had the most amazing beehive, and my dad took part in protest marches - I should dig out photos - my parents were, and still are, awesome.

Speaking of lovely things on the internet, Paulina is hosting the internet's sweetest giveaway. Pop on over and enter, why don't you! You can enter here.

I must see your mothers beehive! My dad had a beard and long hair, I love looking at those pictures.

Do you have any halloween plans?

I just showed my mom this. Amazing :)

I have pictures of my mother in mini-skirts with her friends, skirts that I wouldn't be allowed out in if I begged.

It's funny how Egypt has changed since the 70's to where we are today, where you need to be veiled in order to be accepted.

I love this post. :)
