My weekend:
- A Friday night after my first week at working drinking beer and playing Super Mario Brothers on the Wii (we fought about who was Mario and who was Luigi!)
- A Saturday afternoon spent wandering around town, and enjoying the delights of Habitat.
- A Saturday night dancing my little boots off to Hot Chip, live at the Picturehouse. Who were amazing - I haven't danced so much in a long time.
- Followed by cocktails drank from china tea-cups and saucers at Bramble. I've come to realise that cocktails should ONLY be drank from a china cup and saucer!
- A Sunday meeting up with a new friend in town, with tea and scones at the National Gallery. I love making new friends - but I've found that it's so hard to do once you leave education.
I could have done with one more day to be honest. I was also completely rubbish at taking my camera anywhere, so sincere apologies.
xx
ps: An advance warning - the next few weeks will be a bit erratic I'm afraid. I am still adjusting to a new schedule, with my new job, so am still trying to balance work life, home life and blogging. We are also moving next week and are lost in a sea of packing. I hope you can please bear with me through these bumpy times.

What a fun weekend! Dancing to Hot Chip would be such a blast - I'm jealous! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd don't worry, we all understand how new schedules & and big life changes mean less blogging... we'll all be here when things settle down. Congrats on the new job and home!
Oh I love Hot Chop that would have been so much fun! Goodluck with the job and the move!
ReplyDeleteI am a dork too! Glad you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLists make me happy, too!

Hope these next few weeks at the new job are great!
Hope you will have a great move, I hope that I have learned all the latin names of flowers and plants by the time you get around to arranging your garden:) You must be so excited to move to a place where you can put up pictures.
ReplyDeletesounds like a fun weekend! i love bullets too (the listy kind ONLY!) my favourite are the ones that look like little apples with swirly stems!

LOVE your weekend. Mario and beer = excellent.
ReplyDeletecocktails from a cup and saucer!? im on it! what an adorable idea
ReplyDeleteyou saw Hot Chip live?? SO jealous! It sounds like you had a great time! I love lists too :)
ReplyDeleteOh it's so strange reading about places I go to on people's blogs! Bramble is my fav bar – and blueberry soup is my fav cocktail there. I do subscribe to the theory that drinking alcohol out of teacups is much more dangerous though – you never realise how much you're drinking as it all looks so pretty. I've hurt my brain that way too many times!!
ReplyDeleteLists are love!
ReplyDeleteHope your new job is going well and what a fun weekend!
ReplyDeletecocktails in china tea cups! i love it.
