Our living room is probably half way through it's renovation, and I thought I'd share with you what we've done so far.
So, before, orange madness:
At least they went with a theme and ran with it?!Now (mid-way):
We've :
Put in a new window
Put in a new door
Blocked up the window that looked into our stairs
Put in new plug sockets and light switches
Taken out the wall lights
Put in a new light fitting
Ripped out the horrible 1970s fire
Binned the horrible blue tile hearth
Taken off most of the orange wallpaper (some bits remain)
Starting painting the woodwork white
Oh, and bought a new sofa bed
Put in a new window
Put in a new door

Hopefully it will take us less than 5 and a half months to finish it!
On a completely unrelated note, this is the view from our living room :)

ReplyDeleteit came out beautifully! i actually like the orange bits around the windows.. but it looks so much brighter now! great job :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so much work! You are amazing - I'd never know how to even start something that complicated. It's looking great though, so can't wait to see the end result.
