Here's what is making Erin smile this January:
Sitting by the fire with a cup of tea
My new grey wool slippers
Hot chocolate and popcorn and a movie, and all of us crammed on the couch
Lots of birthday celebrations to look forward to
Making my very first ice cream cake {hubby's going to love it!}
Cold, sunny mornings when the frost is thick and everything sparkles
A stack of new books on my bedside table
Chai tea lattes and free wi-fi at Starbucks
My Tumblr archive... looking through all the warm, sunny photos of spring and summertime makes me happy
New writing paper on which to write letters to faraway friends
My blue fleece blanket, covered in snowflakes
Stomping on frozen "crackly" puddles with my rosy-cheeked boys
