...I've just managed to dye a load of white washing a rather fetching shade of pink.
Including some of my favourite items of clothing, and a t-shirt I bought boyfriend for his birthday.
Oh well, sod the rest of the housework, I'd better put my feet up, have a nice glass of gin, and think of a way to talk myself and boyfriend into thinking our favourite colour is pink.
xx
Quick, to the supermarket! They sell very useful colour catcher things in the laundry section - stick one in, run another wash and they should go back to normal.
ReplyDeleteOh good, Alex said what I was thinking!
ReplyDeleteAnd really, even if it doesn't work, pink is such a lovely color for t-shirts, no?
Thanks for the advice ladies! I'm sick today, and don't live near a supermaket, so can't get hold of the colour catcher thing. I tried the village shop, but no joy. I'm currently trying a cup of bleach in the wash - we'll see what happens!
ReplyDeleteoh i HATE when i do that - and i seem to do it enought to HATE doing it!

we have all done it, it is a shame you cant buy laundry bleach in this country! but you sound like you are approaching the situation in the right way!
ReplyDeletex.
Why oh why didn't I take your approach when having a laundry malfunction. I'm good @ bleaching things that aren't white. I love the gin idea especially. In fact a GNT sounds divine just about NOW!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better for the weekend & I bet you & boyfriend will look smashing in pink!

LOL oh no! well.. upside? it is spring soon.. thats a very spring color??
ReplyDeleteOh no! I do love the solution you came up with, though! :)
ReplyDeleteJust tell him you had the gin BEFORE you did the laundry.
