Project 365 - Week 22

Oh my, I am nearly four weeks behind with Project 365, so expect a week of updates :)

365/148 - North Bridge, early evening time, looking over to the Balmoral Hotel.

365/149 - I was inspired by this great project from Sarah  (as I am usually am inspired by her photography and projects), so I hunted down some slides of Arizona (after having a great family holiday there as a teenager).  In true Wendy style I haven't got round to putting them up yet, but one day I know they will look great :)

365/150 - Statue at top of Princes Street, in the morning fog.

365/151 - Entrance of the Radisson Hotel.

365/152 - Boyfriend and I met up with friends at the City Cafe on Blair Street on the Friday night for food and drinks.  They've redecorated it since we were last in - like a 1950's American diner.  We were most upset - it used to be one of our favourite places to go for a cheap pizza and beer, with a really relaxed atmosphere. Now all the staff are in cheesy uniforms and constantly in your face, and they've tripled the prices.

365/153 - I used the egg cups boyfriend got me the week before to have a boiled egg and soldiers.  Perfect Saturday food.

365/154 - I have been obsessed with the idea of having a tea drawer since I spotted one on Zoe's blog, so I finally got round to clearing out a drawer in the kitchen and filling it with my favourite tea.

See you tomorrow for Week 23!

  2. Love that photo of the statue in the mist...
And though I don't have a tea drawer, I do have an entire shelf in one cupboard devoted to tea!

    Happy weekend, Wendy.

  3. Love the statue in the mist.

We also have an entire shelf in one cupboard devoted to tea. There's some overspill onto the shelf below, too...

  4. Ahhhhhhh Burgen linseed bread, am I right? The best toast EVER. And I just bought that chai tea latte thing yesterday! It's already my go-to comfort drink - yum
