Being a bridesmaid for my best friend, and the most beautiful and simple wedding (photos to follow).
Spending time with our friends and family in Aberdeenshire.
Boyfriend being able to feel baby kick for the first time.
Hearing baby's little heartbeat beating away like a hundred horses.
Beautiful sunshine and its warmth on my bare arms.
My bathroom being 90% finished!
Elasticated waist skirts - my saviour at the moment!

I Didn't Like:
Aberdeen withdrawal symptoms. All my best friends live there, so I always get sad when I have to leave them. Weekends always go so fast!
Finding out I might have gestational diabetes. Cue no sugar in my diet. Cue sugar withdrawal induced grumpiness and general tetchiness.

Eating out. Telling people you are a pregnant, diabetic vegetarian induces a look of sheer panic in friends, family, chefs and waiting staff! My diet is exceptionally exceptionally limited at the moment.
Having to google everything before it goes in my mouth (thank goodness for iPhones!).

Making the mistake of watching parrots that mimic babies crying on Youtube. Some of them are far too convincing. It worries me that Lily bird might pick up the same noises!
xx
You look amazing - really radiant with your bump!!
ReplyDeleteAnd yep iPhones are a saviour!!!!

It would be funny if Lilly could cry like a baby, but probably annoying in the long run!
ReplyDeleteoh that could be bad! i hope she doesn't pick it up.
ReplyDeleteyour baby bump is sooo cute!
Aw the bump is so cute. Take care of yourself (selves)!
ReplyDeleteElastic waists are something my uncle loves too. The only difference is that his belly won't go away in several months.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your diet and Lily.
Ooh, look at you!
ReplyDeleteMy sister had gestational diabetes. I hope it turns out you don't have it...
How fun! I might go to Aberdeen- sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your dislikes. Sigh, GD is not fun at all.

ReplyDeleteAw I love these posts you do - looking forward to hearing about the wedding! I'm sorry about your dislikes, I don't think I could cope without sugar! xx
ReplyDeleteAw your bump is lovely; I on the other hand just have a totally rounded stomach making me look like I ate too much!
